Reviews of the Welsh info lit project sharing day

International information literacy loga - blue graphics of open bookThe Welsh information literacy project (WILP) held a sharing and best practice day in August. For those who were unable to attend (including me!), there are a few blog post reviews and articles of the event with interesting and useful highlights from the day. The reviews also provide more information about some of the recent successes of the project.

See: Lis Parcel’s post from the RSC Wales, Rebecca Mogg’s article on the Information Literacy website (and she’s deputy chair of the CILIP information literacy group), and the WILP project team’s Storify capture of tweets.

The WILP steering group are meeting soon to discuss The Future. If you have ideas about embedding information literacy in all types of libraries and how to take the outcomes from the project forward, let the project team or me know.
