Eeek! Creepy stories!

Words Creepy House

(c) The Reading Agency

The Reading Agency has announced the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge: Creepy House.

You can read about the impact of the 2012 challenge (Story Lab) on their website, or more about the Creepy House on here.

In Wales, all 22 public library authorities take part in the Summer Reading Challenge, and last year (2012) there was a 2% increase in the numbers completing the challenge compared to 2011. This may sound small but is still good as it’s hard to increase year on year, especially when the numbers starting the challenge have gone up 98% in the last decade! (2002-2012).
