New Welsh text to speech software

Most, if not all, public and academic library services in Wales provide assistive software for text to speech on computers.

Colleagues in Wales may therefore be interested in a software partnership between the Welsh Government and RNIB Cymru which has led to the development of two Welsh text to speech voices. The Geraint and Gwyneth software is free to individuals and non-commercial organisations and usable on all standard screen readers and Microsoft platforms. See the Ivona website for more information.
