Have you ever wanted to have a handy guide to help library staff dealing with customers? Well, An Chomhairle Leabharlanna (The Library Council in the Republic of Ireland) has launched a guide on clear communication for staff in public libraries to help them communicate effectively with the public.

Although it’s written with public libraries in mind I think many of the core principles carry over into good customer service in all types of libraries.
